Immortal Redneck (2017)

“As you can guess from the title (not my idea!), Immortal Redneck is a very irreverent FPS, with procedurally generated levels, set in a very funky version of Ancient Egypt. Our titular protagonist is lost there, and ready to blast his way through hordes of aliens.

We never see him and we never hear him talk to anyone else, so the challenge was to convey his personality through terse, circumstantial barks. I wanted to have some humor, not just gung-ho remarks, and an additional challenge was sticking to hilarious but credible-sounding Kansas vernacular. I was over the moon when some reviewers from the American south said it sounded authentic to them!”
