TheIvory Calico won 1st Prize at the 2025 edition of IntroComp, one of the longest-running international competitions for interactive fiction.
It’s noir story focused on Kitty Cross, a 1940s cigarette girl who gets tangled in a murder she (perhaps?) didn’t commit. In the paranoid and jingoistic atmosphere of WW2 wartime, as a precarious immigrant she can’t afford the police attention which could get her father, an anti-Nazi refugee in hot water.
Can she navigate the cops, the mob, her shady almost-bofriend, corrupt federal officers and (perhaps?) a conspiracy that could change the course of the war?
